You will work closely with our Account Managers, Creative/Social Media team, Email Marketing specialists and Website team to ensure that paid traffic, creative, landing pages and conversion journeys are working together effectively.
We are looking for someone who is analytical, commercially minded and genuinely interested in why campaigns perform the way they do – not someone who simply launches ads and reports on the numbers.
You should be comfortable looking at the full customer journey:
Ad → Click → Landing Page → Product/Offer → Checkout → Purchase
…and identifying where opportunities or problems exist.
Key Responsibilities
1. Paid Advertising
Manage and optimise paid advertising campaigns across:
Core platforms:
- Meta Ads – Facebook & Instagram
- Google Ads – Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Display/YouTube where relevant
Additional platforms – advantageous:

- Scaling campaigns when performance allows
2. eCommerce Performance
Work with clients to improve the performance of their online stores and digital customer journeys.
This includes:
- Analysing eCommerce performance
- Understanding customer journeys and conversion funnels
- Identifying conversion drop-off points
- Reviewing product pages and landing pages
- Making CRO recommendations
- Reviewing offers, messaging and calls-to-action
- Identifying opportunities to improve conversion rates
- Analysing traffic quality vs conversion performance
- Making recommendations based on data rather than assumptions
Experience with Shopify and/or WordPress/WooCommerce would be highly advantageous.
3. Conversion Tracking & Analytics
A strong understanding of tracking is essential for this role.
You should be comfortable with:
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
- Google Tag Manager (GTM)
- Meta Pixel
- Meta Conversions API
- Google Ads conversion tracking
- eCommerce conversion tracking
- Event tracking
- UTM tracking
- Diagnosing tracking discrepancies
- Identifying missing or inaccurate conversion data

Work alongside the website team to identify opportunities to improve conversion performance.
This may include:
- Website performance reviews
- Landing page recommendations
- Product page optimisation
- Mobile experience reviews
- CTA optimisation
- User journey analysis
- Checkout/conversion funnel analysis
- Basic UX/CRO recommendations
- Identifying technical or tracking issues affecting advertising performance
You don’t necessarily need to be a developer, but you should be comfortable working with websites and understanding how changes can impact conversion performance. Experience with website development or the ability to make basic website/code changes will be highly beneficial.
5. Data Analysis & Reporting
You will be responsible for understanding campaign performance and turning data into actionable recommendations.
This includes:
- Monitoring campaign KPIs
- Analysing ROAS, CPA, CPC, CTR, conversion rates and revenue
- Identifying trends and anomalies
- Comparing performance over time
- Understanding profitability and commercial objectives
- Preparing performance insights for Account Managers/client reports
- Making clear recommendations for next steps
- Communicating why performance changed, not just what changed
- Using reporting and analytics tools to present performance data clearly and efficiently
- Experience with Swydo or similar digital marketing reporting platforms will be highly beneficial
Highly beneficial: Experience with Swydo, Looker Studio or similar digital marketing reporting platforms.
6. Creative Performance
Paid media performance is closely linked to the quality and relevance of the creative. We are looking for someone who can think strategically about creative and, ideally, create the ads themselves.
You will:
- Develop ad concepts, angles, hooks and messaging based on campaign objectives and performance data.
- Write compelling ad copy, headlines, primary text and CTAs.
- Create paid social creatives for Meta, Google, TikTok and other platforms where relevant.
- Adapt creative for different placements, formats and audiences.
- Analyse creative performance and identify winning concepts, messaging and formats.
- Identify creative fatigue and proactively recommend new concepts and variations.
- Use performance data to inform future creative.
- Work closely with our designer and content team when additional creative support is required.
- If you are not able to create the creative yourself, you must be able to provide clear, detailed and strategic creative briefs to our designer, including the objective, target audience, key message, copy, visual direction, format, CTA and any relevant performance insights.
- Review completed creative before it goes live to ensure it meets the brief and is aligned with the campaign strategy.
Highly beneficial: Experience creating paid advertising creatives yourself using tools such as Canva, Instagram Edits, Adobe Creative Suite or similar, as well as strong copywriting skills.
7. Strategy, Client Communication & Continuous Optimisation
We are looking for someone who can not only execute and optimise campaigns, but also understand the bigger picture and confidently communicate their thinking to clients.
You will be expected to:
- Develop and implement paid media and eCommerce performance strategies aligned with each client’s objectives.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve campaign, website and conversion performance.
- Stay up to date with platform developments, new features and emerging opportunities.
- Test new strategies, channels, creative approaches and optimisation opportunities.
- Make clear, data-driven recommendations to improve performance.
- Communicate strategies, recommendations and performance insights directly to clients in a clear, confident and professional manner.
- Participate in client meetings and be comfortable explaining campaign performance, recommendations, testing plans and next steps.
- Present reporting insights and explain why performance has changed, rather than simply presenting the numbers.
- Listen to client objectives and feedback and translate these into practical marketing recommendations.
- Manage client questions relating to paid media, tracking, website performance and conversion optimisation.
- Build professional and positive client relationships while maintaining appropriate boundaries and managing expectations.
- Proactively communicate challenges, performance concerns or opportunities rather than waiting for the client or Account Manager to raise them.
- Work closely with the Account Manager to ensure the client receives a consistent and coordinated strategy across all digital channels.
